Mostotrest signs the state contract for construction of the second and third sections of a secondary road along Kurortnyi avenue in Sochi
Open Joint Stock Company “Mostotrest” has signed the state contract for construction of the second and third sections of the secondary road along Kurortnyi avenue in Sochi, Krasnodarski krai. The Federal State Company Directorate for Highway Construction and Overhaul Chernomorye is the customer for the project. The contract price is 59.36 billion roubles (including VAT) and the duration of the project is set at 28.5 months.
As a general contractor Mostotrest will construct the secondary road along Kurortnyi avenue between 172nd kilometre of the M-27 „Dzhubga-Sochi“ highway and the PK0 Sochi bypass (Agura river), including reconstruction of a section of the road between Zemlyanichnaya Street and Kurortnyi avenue, Sochi, Krasnodarski krai.
The second stage of the construction of a secondary road along Kurortnyi avenue in Sochi from Zemlyanichnaya Street to the Sochi river includes the construction of a four-lane highway with a total length of more than 5.5 kilometres, which will include 13 bridges, pathways and flyovers with a total length of 4.8 kilometres as well as three multi-level intersections and 6 tunnels with a total length of more than 4 kilometres.
The third stage of the construction of a secondary road along Kurortnyi avenue from the Sochi river to the Psahe river includes the construction of a 5.3 km long four-lane motorway, which will include, a bridge, an interchange and a flyover with a total length of 1.2 kilometres as well as 6 tunnels with a total length of more than 5.8 kilometres and two interchanges at different levels.
Commenting on the conclusion of the contract, Vladimir Vlasov, CEO of OJSC Mostotrest said: “Mostotrest actively participates in development of transport infrastructure of the Olympic Sochi: the company constructs “Stadium”, “Adler ring” and “Golubye Dali” transport intersections, combined railway and motorway road Adler - Alpika-Service and overpasses of the first section of a secondary road along Kurortniy avenue. In the framework of construction of the second and the third sections of the avenue the company will build more than 10 kilometers of the motorway in both directions and over 30 different bridge facilities. It is a large-scale and high-profile work, which will be successfully held due to the effective and centralized system of project management, high scientific and technological capabilities of the company along with considerable production facilities, deployed by Mostotrest in this region”.
