As part of the project, a new 3.6 km x 45 m runway, taxiways, a cargo platform, an aircraft deicing aprons, an air traffic control tower, main and lift-off rescue stations, a patrol road and sewage treatment facilities will be built. In addition, the project envisages construction of a parking apron for 45 aircraft and installation of radio, lighting and meteorological equipment for Category 2 landing from both directions.
