Ongoing construction of a new four-lane segment of the Category 1B M-4 «Don» Highway, to run through Bobrovski, Pavlovski and Verkhne-Mamonski districts of the Voronezh region.
The total length of the segment is 85.17 km, including 69.44 km of new route and 15.73 km of existing segment to be upgraded. As part of the project, Mostotrest will build and rebuild a total of 35 bridges and flyovers, as well as 5 split-level traffic interchanges.
The project aims to eliminate the discrepancy between technical parameters of the existing highway and traffic intensity. In addition, the existing route currently runs through populated areas, increasing accident and vehicle concentration rates and adversely affecting the environment and human health.
